BIG IDEAS FOR SMALL SPACES

There are many scenarios where garden space is minimal including rental properties; apartments with balconies;  townhouses with small courtyards; retirement homes; caravan parks; community garden allotments and many suburban blocks.

This is the first in a series of four workshops to help you make the most of the space you have.  You will learn techniques such as stacking, hanging pots, lattices, using narrow niches and wall and fence spaces, portable grow bags, clever plant choices such as dwarf varieties and low maintenance plants that take up minimum space wth a high yield. You will also be introduced to the skill of growing organic sprouts & microgreens.

Design your garden to optimise your space. Join Kimbriki EcoHouse and Garden ecologist, Peter Rutherford on July 30.

Future workshops in our small space garden series are as follows:

  • September 24 at Manly Vale Community Garden with Angela Penn, kitchen garden teacher + science teacher
  • October 12 at Manly Vale Community Garden with Angela Penn, kitchen garden teacher + science teacher
  • November 9 at Kimbriki EcoHouse and Garden with ecologist, Peter Rutherford

Don't miss out this series is for the next few months only!
