Dear All,

May was an exceptional month for us all at Permaculture Northern Beaches (PNB).  Last Thursday we held our Q&A forum on "What is Real Sustainability" in a world where this word has become diluted.  In addition to a team of 4 panelists we had David Holgrem Skype in from rural Victoria to give his perspective on what having a "Fair Share" really means today, speaking as an original designer of the permaculture ethics and design principles. We launched our own Twitter feed @permacultureNBeaches on the night.

Earlier in May we held the EcoFestival with many hundreds of you attending on International Permaculture Day, May 3 at Ingelside.  We have held a spotlight on indigenous food and medicine from April to late May.

This month, as the nights get colder, we are having a film and soup night on June 25 with the newly released eco-documentary "Inhabit". This will be our last session at the Narrabeen Tramshed for some months until refurbishment is completed mid-2016. We will be from July 23 just north up Pittwater Rd at the Nelson Heather Community Centre.

Come help us celebrate June 25 at the Tramshed at Narrabeen while watching the award winning documentary "Inhabit".

Wishing you all a happy Earth Day on June 5,

Elle Sheather for the PNB Committee

Permaculture Northern Beaches Coordinator
