The Manly Vale Community Garden annual Spring Fair will be held this year on Saturday 15 September! Come and join us for a day filled with fun activities and workshops with like-minded people interested in organic gardening and sustainability. There will also be a coffee cart, produce and preserves stall, sausage sizzle, native bee hive split, bake sale, kids face painting, seeds and seedlings sale, crop swap opportunity and more.

The MV Community Garden is preparing a range of produce and preserves and would like help by donating any excess fruit or vegetables you might have that could be turned into wonderful jams, chutneys and preserves. To build insect hotels we are asking for donations of sticks, bark, leaves, bamboo, scraps of wood, logs, straw, pine cones, even old terracotta pots or pieces of tile.  If you are able to contribute any of the above please email mvcommunitygarden@gmail.com to arrange a drop off/collection.

Paul Hoskinson from the PNB bee team will also be doing a native bee workshop and hive split.
