At this our first education evening of 2026, our wonderful speaker invites participants to view gardening and land care as a reciprocal relationship, where nurturing the earth also supports human balance, resilience and wellbeing.
The talk includes guided practices to help participants feel grounded and connected with nature, movements to ease common areas of stiffness and strain that can build up through time spent gardening, as well as a simple centering ritual to calm the nervous system before working in the garden.
Katie Brown is a yoga, meditation and Qi Gong teacher and an author with over two decades of teaching experience. Her work weaves ancient wisdom with modern life, supporting people to reconnect with nature, regulate the nervous system and cultivate sustainable wellbeing — both on and off the mat.
