The PNB AGM will be held from 7-7:30 PM - if you would like to input on our issues for 2027 and to hear about our 2026 work program, please attend. The AGM is followed by a special talk from local Bush to Bowl at 7:30 PM.

Bush to Bowl is a 100% Aboriginal-owned native plants nursery and social enterprise in Terrey Hills, which combines cultural heritage, environmental stewardship, and community education.

Founded by Clarence Bruinsma (Yaegl, mid‑north coast NSW) and Adam Byrne (Garigal, Sydney), Bush to Bowl began from a small greenhouse at Balgowlah Heights Primary School today it is a social enterprise aimed at:

  • Cultural reconnection – providing a safe space for Aboriginal people to engage with traditional plants, medicines, and foodways

  • Environmental stewardship – propagating endangered and endemic native species, restoring degraded landscapes, and avoiding chemical inputs bushtobowl.com.

  • Community empowerment – offering employment, training, and mentorship to Indigenous people, including bush tucker landscaping services and workshops

  • Nursery & Produce: Grows and sells native plants, fresh/frozen/dried/powdered bush foods, and native spices

  • Education: Runs bush tucker walks, school and business workshops, and training for Indigenous youth Manly Observer.

  • Community Support: Shares knowledge and resources to help other Aboriginal entrepreneurs enter the bush food industry theibr.com.au.

Bush to Bowl addresses the under‑representation of Aboriginal people in Australia’s bush foods industry. Their work integrates traditional ecological knowledge with modern sustainability, aiming to heal Land and Community while supporting biodiversity.

  • Visit: The Terrey Hills nursery is open for tours and plant sales;

  • Wholesale: Native plants and bush foods available for bulk orders bushtobowl.com.

Bush to Bowl is both a cultural landmark and a sustainable source of native produce.
