Come along to an informative talk about native bees and pollinators, and how to make your garden more bee-friendly with Curl Curl local, Eilis O’Beirne.
Eilis is the CEO of Australian Native Bee Conservation and Vice President of the Australian Native Bee Association.
In Australia, there are over 1700 named native bees, and in the Sydney region alone, approximately 200 species.
More native bees are being studied and discovered every year.
Native bees are the only pollinators of some of Australia’s trees and wildflowers - so their role is vital.
Eilis will provide you with insights about which native bees are in your garden and how you can support your garden for the bees to pollinate more of your plants and promote biodiversity.
Entry is free for PNB members and by donation for non-members. No bookings required.
We've been busy rolling out our program of Pollinator Pocket Permabees.
Just visit our friendly team at the check-in table on arrival tonight.
