Let's take another look at Hemp!

Join us for a night delving into the diversity of the Hemp plant, gaining valuable information of the many uses the Hemp plant has to offer now and into the future. We are pleased to announce three experienced and knowledgeable speakers:

Kirstie Wulf from Shelter Building Design,  has won a National Building Designers Australia award for her CULBURRA Beach home and will be speaking about the many functions of Hemp as a building material. She will share key lessons learned in building with Hemp.

Karen Bridgman has worked as a Naturopath at a holistic GP practice, and at Australian Biologics Testing Services for over 30 years. She has also been an academic and the Universities of Sydney and Western Sydney. Karen is interested in improving health in cancer and neurological conditions.

Beatrice Rankin owner of Hemp Gallery and at the fore-front of the Hemp industry in Australia will share her in-depth knowledge of the diverse use of Hemp in the low-environmental-impact manufacturing of textiles, hair, body, skin care, soap and nutritional products. Come and get your Hemp questions answered!

The August meeting will also feature our annual indoor market featuring our favourite eco, ethical and environmentally responsible stall holders - including organic and hemp clothing soap and skin care products.
