Permaculture, (permanent + agriculture) is a term coined by Australians Bill Mollison and David Holmgren. Permaculture is a design system for sustainable human habitation. A major focus is the sustainable and harmonious use of resources for safe food production. It is based on 12 practical, integrated design principles and methods, modeled on the natural world. These principles can be applied to both urban and rural environments.
We acknowledge that the development of Permaculture philosophy and practice has included significant contributions derived from organic agricultural systems from across the world. We came from the land and through Nature’s wisdom, we learn better ways to live.
If you are keen to deepen your understanding of permaculture and practice a more sustainable lifestyle, this course is for you! Spend a special weekend with PNB at the Introduction to Permaculture course (ITP).
